''Propter Nuptias' was the formidable Miroir Noir thematic series that ended up becoming a book and a travelling exhibition. The tour of presentations began in September 2013 in the deconsecrated Rochuskapelle (Munich), travelling in November-December to Madrid’s Blokker Gallery, Barcelona’s Eat Meat Gallery during April 2014, and ending in the City Gallery of Bratislava in summer'15. This series culminates a work of synthesis in brushstroke and palette, offering a very pure expressive result. It analyses the symbolism of weddings and brides, but behind them we find virgins, nuns or whores; spectral figures of apparently blind eyes reflecting a rather sour joy.
