And the evil is...
I come back these days from spending a few weeks in Bratislava. We had an exhibition that had already changed its date twice due to covid, and on top of that, we hadn't worked together with Miroir Noir for two years. Although we had prepared other subjects to paint before the trip, we were not able to stick to the previous plans. These days of March and April 2022, there on one border with Ukraine, the feeling of danger and injustice felt much closer.
And it ends up being true that the closest wars feel like their own and that the physical distance makes them less important and in the end blurs them until making them transparent, when not even the name of the site tells us anything. But this one was in the house's rear patio .
So to warm up we took our charcoals and draw a series of refugees and civilians in times of war from today's photos, just the ones we were finding on the mobile.
Once calmed down, or warmed up, we fetched some Putins, to get rid of our bad feeling and make some voodoo works.
