The 2010 Iguapop Gallery exhibition had been painted a year ago. I was simply changing finished paintings for others already framed and ready. I just had to stop, as there bécame a time when I didn’t know which one to select or to exchange for another one… So I got hold of several kilos of clay and started making heads and human figures, firing the small ones and taking molds of the larger ones. These I turned into plaster, embedded dental molds into them, then painted them... I spent a few months this way calming my nerves by using my hands and my eyes in different ways.
I will go back to clay when I have a larger workshop.
